Codebook Design for PD-SCMA NOMA Systems

The hybrid power domain sparse code non-orthogonal multiple access (PD-SCMA) scheme multiplexes users on a single resource element (RE) both in and domains, thus achieving superior spectral efficiency. multiplexing performance of such can be enhanced not only through deployment sophisticated allocation schemes low complexity robust multi-user detectors but also prudent multi-dimensional codebook design. By considering the key design indicators (KPIs) different channel use scenarios, this work assesses various known constellation (MDC) criterion low-rate turbo-coded PD-SCMA NOMA system. In order to strike balance with regard good modulation (MDM) complex detection, based linear error correcting block codes is proposed. Unique user-specific rotation quaternion matrices proposed aim maintaining symbol uniqueness for overloaded systems. Simulation results confirm that MDCs satisfy KPIs outperform others.
